The HALL OF HEAVY METAL HISTORY® not only enshrines forever those legendary Heavy Metal Musicians who are responsible for making Heavy Metal what it is today, we are also dedicated to helping children fight cancer.
Thousands of children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2016, and these alarming statistics continue to grow year after year. In the United States, Cancer is the second leading cause of death in children after accidents. Thousands of children younger than 15 years old are expected to die from cancer in 2016 alone. Together we can help make a difference.
Awareness is key in fighting horrific diseases, and The Hall of Heavy Metal History® helps bring awareness in an effort to help these children and their families.
The “Hall of Heavy Metal History®” is a division of our 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization D.A.D. (Drums and Disabilities). For over a decade, Celebrities, Sports Stars, Law Enforcement Agencies, Doctors, United States Governmental Agencies, Neuroscientists, Special Needs Therapists, Musicians and Teachers in over 15 countries have taken part in our outreach programs, to help the disabled population live Happier, Healthier lives.
Senators and Congressmen throughout the United States call on us to help write disability laws. The U.S. State Department brought us to the West Bank region of Israel, to help disabled Israeli and Palestinian children. The United States Department of Defense has us help troops on a global basis with Post Trauma Stress Disorder issues. In addition, we wrote the very first law to expand protection for special needs adults.
